Getting it together

Alright! So today I am starting this section of the site in the hopes of giving more cohesion to my “vision“. Getting it together in a vacuum is absolutely exhausting. My poor cousin is the only person I have to bug for feedback and I know I am driving her insane. Sorry Bean! I love you!

Getting it together

Other than not having the affiliated links crap sorted, I think the framework is pretty solid. The major work ahead is to get cracking hard on adding my recipes, sharing my super handy stuff I can’t live without and posting all my wines in. All that while I study for my WSET level 2 exam, get the podcast outlined and started in between taking care of Madam and His Majesty The Beast. (I’ll introduce them in later posts and link if I remember.)

The Affiliate link thing and the SEO optimization is really making me feel older than shit. This stuff used to be cake to me but my gray matter is gasping for air and I am retaining NOTHING anymore. Did you know that’s an actual thing? Seriously!

There is a real thing called “Doorway Syndrome“! I cannot tell you how relieved I was when I found that out. At least I am not totally falling off the cliff. Now what was I typing about again?

What was I saying?

Ah shit.

RIGHT! Getting it together! Today I’m trying to fill in gaps on posts so all the categories display right and you all know there is actual STUFF here! Thus the real purpose of this first diary entry. Not seeing it on the previews makes me forget it even exists. VIRTUAL DOORWAY! I may use His Majesty The Beast as a catch up on posts. He’s my puppy. Or pony. Not sure yet.

For now, I have to find my tasting notebook, search through 3 years of pics on my phone for wine labels and get them sorted into cohesive posts for all of you! And perhaps crack a new bottle for something new to share. I missed my live class last night because Madam’s infusion appointment got screwed up somehow. My poor brother-in-law was an hour early to Uber us then had to wait until they got her taken care of. Did I mention we had food poisoning for Memorial Day weekend? I’m grateful they were able to do her infusion at all after how sick the poor thing was. Screw ups and all, yesterday was a well and blessed day and I am grateful. Today, there shall be wine! A good Cab, if I am not mistaken. Look for it under the Red Wine section!

Stay tuned!
